Posted on behalf of County Councillor Phillippa Williamson City Councillor Adrian Duggan and Warton Parish Council, who have been raising awareness of speeding in Warton to the Lancashire County Council Speed Management Group. There is a Community Toolkit which gives examples of how residents can raise awareness of speeding or road safety issues in their local area.  The Partnership's Speed Management Programme, which is updated monthly with newly assessed sites and which includes the Community Toolkit information, is available on the Lancashire Road Safety Partnership website https://lancsroadsafety.co.uk/submit-concern/   If residents witness regular incidents of nuisance or dangerous driving, they can contact the police directly either by the non-emergency telephone number: 101, or on the Lancashire Constabulary 'Do It Online' webpage, with a record of the registration numbers of the vehicles. https://reportitonline.lancashire.police.uk/NdsPublicEngagementUi/index?force=lancashireconstabulary  I hope this is of help to residents, any further comments to This email address is being protected from spambots. WARTON VILLAGE HALL

Do you have skills you would like to share?  Would you like to run your own classes in the village hall, or perhaps arrange concerts or performances?

We welcome all interests and would love to see new classes at the hall, e.g. flower arranging, bridge club, keep fit, indoor bowls, whist drives, tea dances, or anything you may like to teach. We are wheelchair friendly and also have a hearing loop in the main hall. There is plenty of availability for classes in the day time and on Sunday evenings.
